Other bulbs and plants
The list below includes most of those listed in the catalog. Many are suitable for the rock garden or troughs, while some belong in shady or sunny borders or in meadows. Meadows are fun to have and other than the work of deciding what to plant and planning how to mow if needed, they can contain a very varied mix of bulbs, perennials and grasses. Now that I’ve moved inland about 12 miles from the ocean and south about 20 miles, all the plants seem happier. There is more sunshine here and the summers are warmer, with less rainfall and colder winter temperatures. The bulbs in particular are much happier!
